It was MKR Will and Steve Instant Restaurant Scores tonight. The “pommies” from the U.K named their restaurant “China Plate”.
For Entree, Will and Steve made Scotch Egg with Herb Mayonnaise. The egg was cooked perfectly, the outside was crispy and was a great dish.
For main, the team cooked Fish and Thrice Cooked Chips, Peas and Liquor. The fish was cooked perfectly, moist in the middle and the chips were delicious. The liquor, however didn’t add anything to the dish.
For dessert, the team made Mrs Stewart’s Chocolate and Hazelnut Roulade. They had some issues with the roulade, it cracked when they were trying to roll it. Instead they
Colin said a roulade was a large sponge that was filled and rolled. He liked the raspberries but the cream needed something sweet in it as the chocolate was so bitter. It wasn’t as good as their last dishes, but it wasn’t a complete disaster.
