Although the judges hinted that they may have prefered Deb and Rick’s wholesome home cook style meals, they didn’t do enough to beat Uel and Shannelle in the elimination round tonight.
Deb and Rick cooked prawn and avocado tart, but used store bought bread for the base instead of pastry. They’re next two dishes were hits, lamb shanks and sticky date pudding. But they were criticised for not using enough technique.
Uel and Shannelle were the winners cooking soft shell crab, pork belly with asian greens and pandan crepes. They scored good points for creativity.
